Eau de Protection opens with bitter orange, ginger and black pepper, giving the rose at its centre a sharp, almost thorny frame before the floral heart fully appears. Bulgarian rose absolute is joined by jasmine and heliotrope, creating a rich red-floral impression that feels vivid and textured rather than soft, powdery or conventionally romantic.

Tonka bean absolute, benzoin and patchouli deepen the base with warmth, sweetness and earthy resinous weight, allowing the earlier spice to fade into something smoother without losing the fragrance's tension. Created in collaboration with Rossy de Palma, Eau de Protection keeps rose at the centre while surrounding it with enough spice and darkness to feel fierce as well as elegant.
